At this time, projects must be submitted through an established and reputable talent or agency in accordance with Tyler Perry Studios’ submission policies. Unsolicited scripts, treatments, pitches, or other literary materials cannot be accepted or reviewed.
However, as a discovery label, Maxscene is focused on identifying emerging filmmakers and storytellers who are already actively investing in their craft and bringing their ideas to life. We encourage creatives to come to the table with more than an idea – whether that’s a proof of concept, short film, established body of work, or other materials that demonstrate their creative vision and ability to execute.
Our goal is to discover voices that are already taking meaningful steps to tell their stories and explore how Maxscene may help amplify what they’ve begun.
